Rosemary lives on the Sunshine Coast with her husband and two children. She has been working in the field of psychology since 2000, having undertaken diverse allied health work roles prior to becoming a psychologist in private practice in 2011.
Rosemary utilises a combination of leading-edge and traditional treatment methods. She operates from the Transpersonal Psychology framework in the delivery of counselling, hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Positive Psychology, mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy treatment modalities.
Rosemary has an excellent reputation for delivering effective and tailored therapy for adults and groups. In addition to individual and couples counselling, she facilitates grief group therapy, birth preparation training for expectant mothers and co-facilitates the annual “Coming of Age” retreats for mothers and daughters in Bali: Step into Womanhood.
Rosemary has a special interest in recovery from trauma and grief, stress, anxiety, depression, life direction, motivation, identity discovery, spiritual growth, life-stages of development, interpersonal relationships, adjustment to change, workplace injury, and women’s health. Rosemary is also undertaking a PhD at University of the Sunshine Coast, researching an innovative group intervention strategy aimed at increasing well-being through adult play.
Rosemary is highly competent and genuinely caring. She is especially adept at building rapport and has a keen insight and ability to respond to presenting and emerging needs in respectful collaboration with clients to meet their mental health needs. She has been delivering her exceptional services to the Sunshine Coast community for many years and continues to offer her services at affordable rates.
